Morning. Winter on It's way.

Friday morning i awoke to see the curtains slightly drawn. I automatically squinted my eyes expecting to see that blinding light of the wicked, morning sun glaring in at me. Instead there was an ill, barely lit, not cloudy, just as if it was still night atmosphere floating through that slit of window between the teal curtains. I assumed i had awoken in the wee hours of the morning so i yawned, rolled over, glanced at my tiny silver portable alarm clock positioned partially beneath my pillow only to see my assumtion was very off (gasp). The bright red numbers clearly read 7:10. Astonishent overwhelmed me. Days are getting shorter. Winter? For a while I leaped with joy at the thought of snow and cold. But oh, our summer slipped away so quickly. Freedom fallen. I love the idea of those crisp autumn days. favorite I'd say. but as we all are so familiar our dear Canada does not feel the same way. Winter's on its way. Alas. (this is a strange blog) Liz out.
