Did the U.S. Government deserve Katrina?

I know that 9-11 is a horrible time to talk about how stupid the U.S. is but i like to write what is on my mind. So here it goes.... Scientists have proved that hurricane Katrina was caused, well not caused but made a lot worse by global warming. The amount of 4-5 (really damaging) hurricanes has increased by 55% over the last forty years. Most likely a direct result of greenhouse gases. As we all know global warming is caused by holes in the ozone layer which are ultimately made by the mass amount of pollution in the air. A large percentage of this pollution comes from our dear neighbour The United States Of America. Earlier this year there was a treaty or petition or something regarding the Greenhouse Effect (global warming). All countries with a significant amount of people and ultimately power were to sign it and agree to cut back on pollution (by about twenty percent) by illiminating the less then necessary manufacturing companies. Of course the greedy U.S. government refused to sign. Now down in New Orleans millions of innocent people are suffering, people that have lived there forever, people that cant afford to leave...that is what i call karma. Liz out.
