Paper Wheat

Tonight i went to see Paper Wheat, The play the comp put on, and i loved it so much! it was hilarious, i could not stop laughing through most of it but in other parts i will admit there were tears in my eyes. The play was about farming in canada from like the 1880's through to the 1980's...sounds boring but it was so good!and they could sing so good, It was so mondo awesome! i give it *****, haha that is my five stars. The set could have been better but the acting, with a few exceptions, totally made up for it cause they were great. I wish i went on tuesday night because then i would have seen it everynight..no joke, it was just that good! ok Chad Drever, he played one of the main characters, played a ukranian farmer. And not only did he have the accent and quite abit of the actual language down pat but he became that character! and Melanie Mellang (sorry if i spelled that wrong) was hilarious! Even before she said her lines i could not stop laughing because just her body language was dead on and so funny, plus her lines were hilarious too! Miss Lindstrand (love her *, but not as much as some people i know, wink wink) did an amazing job directing. The entire play had this easy going, fun, country lifestyle vibe. i loved it. over all Paper Wheat was a really awesome play! I wish tonight wasn't their last performance or i would tell you all to go see it (i would come too). Liz out.
