Valentine...Saint or Demon??

So its valentine's day, and im alone, maybe that is why i hate the holiday so much......or maybe its perfectly justified by the theory below:

i dont think ppl should express their love for one another just cause the calender tells them too, they should on any day....because thats what love is about. It would feel so much better to recieve flowers on like the 19th of january, just cause, then the 14th of february.
Valentine's day is not to show the one you love that you love them....its to show everyone else how much you love that special person. Today i heard girls complaining because their boyfriends didnt love them enough to spend more than $40 on their Vday presents....it was revolting. Love should never be measured by wallet size! Besides one should not need presents to be sure their bf/gf loves them...they should just know. i hate it.

Also its a crazy scheme for corporations to rob innocent citizens. urrrg.
