For never was a story of more woe, than this of Juliet and her Romeo

ok, so i love this play, alot. The first time i read it i liked it, but not alot. This time i read it i LOVED it so much. I think the main difference is that i can relate to the way the characters are feeling now, more than i could the first time i read it. As i was reading Act V, Scene III, (the end of the play) the pages were like wet with tears....i couldn't stop crying! O Shakespeare you're a genius indeed. I find it so amazing that his plays are still read world wide, centuries after his death. People can still relate to the characters, i guess human nature hasn't changed, how could it? That's my favorite thing about Shakespeare - his remarkable ability to portray human nature.

Have you ever seen the fil, Romeo and Juliet? Not the lame Leonardo DiCapprio one, okay that one isn't lame...how could it be? after all, its directed by the fabulously talented Baz Luhrham (can't spell, hes the guy that did Moulin Rouge!). Anyways...the old one is better! It was directed by Franco Zeffirelli in 1968, its amazing!! Juliet is so pretty, and so is romeo's voice haha. Its definately in my top 3 movie list...ya, its that good! I cried when we watched it in class, it was a little embarrassing but what evs. It was a fantastic film, to say the least. O ya weird coincidence...when i got home (right after crying during the film in English class), i turned on the T.V. and the weekenders was on. You know - Tino, Carver, Lor, Tish, Pizza Place - on the Family Channel...well anyway Tino had just cried during Romeo and Juliet in his english class - he was really embarrassed about it! Weird huh? I thought so.
Liz, out.
