I'm am SO pumped! Emily Haines, the lead singer of my favorite band METRIC, has a solo album coming out this year!!! According to Flare magazine she is just putting the finishing touches on it and it should be out in July!!!!! WOOT! She is so amazingly talented...but i do hope she doesnt ditch metric and go solo for ever. I can't wait for this CD it will most definately rock my kneesocks off. haha. This brings me to my song of the week, wow i havn't done that in a while but this is it....

Urgent News Break!!!

apparently a few weeks ago there was a fight at Charlie Killam School, I didn't even hear about it and yet it was announced on CamFM. WOW! Good old camrose, a couple of teenage girls slap each other and its breaking news...That is quite humorous I have to admit. Now our school is hosting an Open House on the third of May because the grade 6 students are nervous to attend CKS because they might get into a fight. I find the whole ordeal rather preposterous! It does however give the emprov team an excuse to get back together..yay! Liz out.

Stupidity = Self Pity

Here is an example of Liz's stupidity:

This morning instead of going to school I decided I would write a cover letter for my resume so I could apply for jobs this afternoon. So I go to my computer and I write this "great" cover letter, I was so proud of myself...At that point I was ready to hire myself. I go to school for the afternoon, go to merchants after school, walk around mainstreet with Vlatinatron, and drop off my resume at Bottlegger, Warehouse One, Payless Shoes, and Shoppers Drug Mart. I was really happy with myself and was sure I would get one of the jobs. Then I let my sister read the letter and she informs me that in the very first sentence of my cover letter, the very first thing the employer looks at, there is a grammar mistake!!! "I am would like to seek employment with your company and I am submitting my resume for your consideration." .....I A M WOULD LIKE TO...What the hell was I thinking?!?!?!? So now I am sitting here wallowing in self pity, hoping that one of the employers won't care or notice. ..Yeah right. Sigh. I guess its East Side Marios for me...Liz out.
