Ace of Base
sorry I haven't been blogging lately, I've been a lil busy. Last week, when I was searching for costumes at value village in Edmonton I bought a c.d. that I had once but lost, (surprise, surprise) - Ace of Base, The Bridge. I always adored this band when I was a youngin' and I can see why. I have totally fallen in love with them all over again, they are so painfully 90's, I love it...I can't believe I survived all these years with out them. haha and I have a few other very strange, and out of character new musical obsessions - my new favorite songs are Joleen by Dolly Parton and Testify To Love by Wynona Judd....They are both so painfully country, and I am so not like that. They are both Steel Magnolia inspired, of course - we have such an awesome soundtrack! Joleen has been redone by The White Stripes, (who I somewhat worship) but since I am going to marry Jack White one day I don't really enjoy hearing him sing about some girl stealing his man - "Joleen, Joleen, Joleen, Joleen, I'm begging of you please don't steal my man". And Dolly Parton has a very pretty voice, back when she was somewhat healthy...This is before she became skin, bones and boobs. Testify to Love is a gooder, but it is hopelessly country, actually kinda gospel...Whatever I like it anyways. well...Liz, out.

Hopelessly? Oh indeed. Lol, i'd personally NEVER listen to that music, glad you've found something fantastical though.
